LASIK Consultations
We offer free LASIK consultations at Eye Clinic of Austin to determine if you are a LASIK candidate. During the consultation, our first step is to answer any questions or concerns you may have about the procedure. We take special care to ensure you fully understand what happens during the procedure and what LASIK can do for you.
The next step is a brief screening that includes a review of your medical history, a complete corneal map, and measuring your corneal thickness. Then Dr. Farhan A. Irshad will meet with you to explain the exam results and whether you are a good candidate for LASIK or if another type of technology is more suitable. Dr. Irshad will also answer any other questions or concerns you may have.
At the conclusion of the consultation, we can schedule your LASIK surgery or you can take your time to think the surgery over and get back to us at a later date.
We offer our LASIK consultations every other Thursday from 7:30 am- 11:00 am.
Please use the form below to request your LASIK consultation or you can contact our LASIK Coordinator at (512) 427-1122.
