Seattle Seahawk wide receiver Jermaine Kearse made some incredible plays in Sunday’s big game, thanks in part to his improved vision – and his teammates, of course!
Kearse underwent LASIK surgery to correct his astigmatism and has been singing its praises ever since. Kearse had the procedure done last February and has been amazed at how much it has improved his sight and his game. When asked about it at the Super Bowl Media Day he noted, “I honestly was really testing out everything. I was reading everything. I was trying to see how far I could read.”
The ease of LASIK procedure and recovery has been steadily improving over the years and is now a simple procedure that is complete in less than 10 minutes. With recovery time averaging a day or so, Kearse was back on the playing field in no time.
The eye surgeons at the Eye Clinic of Austin are highly experienced, with over 2.500 procedures completed. After the first step of a free LASIK consultation to note each eye’s imperfections, our surgeons will determine if your eyes are healthy and suited for LASIK treatment or not.
Regardless of if you’re suiting up for the big game or the office, the Eye Clinic of Austin is here to help you decide if LASIK is right for you. Look to our website for more information on the procedure and on payment plan options.
