Ophthalmologist Clayton Falknor, M.D. announced his planned departure from Eye Clinic of Austin this week. Dr. Falknor will be moving to Colorado Springs to practice and will no longer be actively practicing in Austin. His official last day is set to be June 27, 2014.
Dr. Falknor said, “While my family and I are very excited about our new opportunity, I will certainly miss the patients I’ve cared for and the amazing clinic staff I’ve worked with the past three years here in Austin. I will carry many wonderful memories and friendships with me as I move on to my next adventure.”
Thomas Henderson, M.D., founder and Ophthalmologist at Eye Clinic of Austin, will be available to see any of Dr. Falknor’s patients upon his departure. A part of the Austin community for over 30 years, Eye Clinic of Austin has always provided the absolute best in eye care including the most advanced technology and caring customer service. The search for a new Ophthalmologist to join the Eye Clinic of Austin team is currently underway.
Dr. Henderson said, “Dr. Falknor is an excellent physician and person. We are sad to see him go. It is our loss and will be Colorado Springs’ gain. We wish only the best for Dr. Falknor and his family in their new endeavor.”
